Do you offer custom engineering and development?
Yes — QTekLaser supports custom system development, packaging, and verification to meet your specific requirements.
What types of fiber amplifiers does QTekLaser™ use?
We amplify milliwatt-level signals to tens or hundreds of watts while preserving narrow linewidth and low noise. We use the following rare-earth doped fibers:
  • Ytterbium (Yb): 1012–1080 nm, up to 100 W
  • Erbium (Er): 1530–1610 nm, up to 60 W
  • Thulium (Tm): 1776–2040 nm, up to 60 W
How do you manage noise and system reliability?
  • SBS-free design and low-noise electronics
  • Low Relative Intensity Noise (RIN)
  • Thermal & vibration-resistant packaging
  • Stage-by-stage interlocks for 24/7 reliability
  • TCP/IP monitoring support
What non-linear frequency conversion technologies do you employ?
Second-Harmonic Generation (SHG): doubles frequency
Uses periodic poled crystals or waveguide technology for strong visible/NIR outputs

Sum-Frequency Generation (SFG): combines two laser frequencies
Combines two fiber amplifiers to produce sum-frequency output in desired bands
